In this analysis and character evaluation session, students will dive into Nancy’s layered personality, exploring her motivations, struggles, and the duality of her actions. Through thought-provoking discussions, character mapping, and creative activities, they’ll uncover the reasons behind her tragic choices and debate whether she is a victim, a villain, or a hero in disguise. The Odyssey - Diary Writing Lesson

(0)
Within this lesson students write a diary entry from the perspective of Odysseus. The lesson shows students a brief diary extract from the epic poem, gives them ideas of what they could include in their own diary entries and then shows an example of how students can lay out their final drafts. To make this lesson really immersive, I tea stained some paper to make it look old and gave this to students to write their final drafts on.
